Group Director

In addition to her role in HMH Group, Liyana is the Special Projects Director of makchic, an online magazine for parents. She recently co-authored a children’s picture book on consent and body safety, titled What If?

Previously, Liyana was attached to the Performance Management and Delivery Unit (PEMANDU), Prime Minister’s Department of Malaysia. Before that, she worked in Petroleum Nasional Berhad (PETRONAS) under Group Corporate Affairs, Strategy, and Performance as well as in Ogilvy Public Relations Worldwide.

Liyana is a degree holder in Communications Studies from Auckland University of Technology, New Zealand, and holds a diploma in Advertising / Integrated Marketing Communications, from Institute Advertising Communication Training (IACT), Kuala Lumpur.
